How to Register a Machine to Your PRO Location

Registering your pinball machine connects it to your Stern IC App account and allows you to manage it within your PRO Portal. Follow these steps to get your machine connected:

Step 1: Access "Connect Your Game"

  1. Open the Stern IC App.
  2. Go to the "More" section (the bottom right navigation item with three dots ...).
  3. Select "Connect Your Game."

Step 2: Enter Your Address (If Requested)

  1. If prompted, enter your address details. 

Step 3: Enter Your WiFi Credentials

  1. Enter the WiFi credentials for the network your pinball machine will connect to.

 Step 4: Quick Connect Enabled?

Some Stern pinball machines feature "Quick Connect" for easier registration. You can identify a Quick Connect enabled game by a pinball icon in the corner of the pinball's screen itself.

After entering your network information. Next, the app will ask you to confirm whether you see this icon. Select "Yes" or "No" accordingly.

Step 5: Scan QR Codes (Based on Your Machine’s Quick Connect Status)

If your machine IS Quick Connect Enabled:

  1. The app will provide one QR code for you to scan on your machine.
    1. Important: You will need to open the coin door of your pinball machine.
      1. Use the coin door buttons to navigate to the Network menu on the pinball's screen.
      2. Scan the provided QR code using the machine's camera (if applicable) or follow the on-screen prompts.

If your machine DOES NOT support Quick Connect:

  1. The app will display steps to guide you through the process.
  2. You will first need to follow the instructions on navigating the pinball menu and  scan a WiFi QR code displayed in the app.
  3. Click "Next" in the app.
  4. Then, follow the instructions on navigating the pinball menu and scan a second registration QR code provided by the app.

Step 6: Assign Your Machine to a Location

After successfully scanning the QR code(s) and completing the in-app prompts, you will need to open the Stern IC App again. From there, you can assign the newly registered machine to your desired "PRO Location" to confirm its registration and make it part of your managed machines in the PRO Portal.
